Ice: Take an ice pack and put it on your wrist. You’ll ease the pain and soothe the inflammation. Let it stay on your wrist for 10 minutes. An immediate relief will appear. This can be repeated several times every day.
Heat: Some people tolerate heat treatments better than ice. Just soak your hands in some hot water. Leave them like that for 15 minutes. It would be the best to do this before you go to bed.
Wrist Stretches: Stretching your wrist can help you relieve the symptoms as well as open the compressed area.
Raise your arms. They should be in front of you and in a parallel with the floor. Squeeze both of your hands into fists. Then, inhale. Bend your wrists as you exhale. Hold like this for 7 seconds. Repeat the procedure 10 times.
Thumb Stretch: In case your thumb is also affected by the syndrome, stretch it, too.
Your left-hand needs to be placed on a flat surface, Your fingers have to be spread wide. Take your thumb with your right hand and stretch it. Hold like this for 10 seconds. Repeat it for 10 times.
Castor Oil: Castor oil can be used to reduce the pain and the inflammation. Warm up some castor oil and apply it on your hand as well as the fingers. Massage them very gently for 15 minutes. Repeat the procedure several times every day.
Epsom Salt: It’s a type of salt that relaxes our muscles because it possesses anti-inflammatory properties.
Put 1 tablespoon of Epsom salt in 1 cup of warm water. Stir it well. Soak your hands in this mixture for 15 minutes. The procedure should be repeated 3 times every day.
